The Compact Car-Cush® with original foam measures 13" wide by 14" deep and is one of the narrowest car cushion products available. It is ideal for all vehicle seats with a smaller flat surface seating area such as sports cars, SUVs (fits 11 1/2" wide seat easily), Electric Vehicles, and vehicle seats with raised seat sides, and great for buses, trains, and airplane seats. Lightweight but durable, Tush-Cush® products easily attach to your luggage and backpack for travel.

How do I know which Tush-Cush® Cushion to buy?
If you can, measure your seat surface,
Using a measuring or ruler device, measure the flat seating surface that you will place the cushion on.
Depth is the measurement from the back of the seat to under your knees. Tush-Cush® products are designed to be shorter in depth than your seating surface.
Width is the flat surface, side to side. If you have upholstery that is raised on each side, only measure the flat seating surface in between the bolstered areas.
Even if your seat measurement is at 11" to 13", the Compact Car Cush ®is the right fit for your vehicle as it will sit in place and provide the support you need.
If you need a slightly wider cushion, consider Car Cush® with dimensions of 13" x 16".
Using Your Compact Car Cush®
Place the cushion on your seating surface, with the handle and cut-out side to the back. Sit back on the cushion to ensure that your tailbone is suspended over the cut-out area. The cushion is designed to end slightly short (depth) of the front of your seating surface to allow knee clearance under a steering wheel and to accommodate a wide variety of seating surfaces.

This is the second one I bought for my husband. He finds it reduces lower back pain during long car trips.
Great for musicians stuck with folding chairs at rehearsals. My back hurts without my Tush-Cush. It is firmer than other foam and just feels good. It overcomes the slope of a folding chair. I find comfort with the bigger size Tush-Cush on my computer chair at home.

bought several cushions that were poor quality or just wrong for what I needed. Found Compact Car-Cush online. I can see over the dash and Cush stays in place when getting in and out. A quality product. And, I bought two more to help getting out of a couple of stressless recliners. Good for my back but knees were taking a beating. Pleased.
This is the perfect sized cushion because most new car seats have the main area to sit, but the two sides of the seat are usually raised higher. This fits snugly in the actual area your bottom hits. Purchased the "original" foam and not the firm, and it is very comfortable. Firm tends to cause upper hip pain for me. However, I only had it a week and I usually give cushions and pillows 2 to 4 weeks, since it needs to break in, but so far very good.
I bought my first cushion in 2022 to use on my desk chair as I work remotely. After just two weeks, I noted that my left leg sciatic pain was not waking me up at night. I was so pleased that I bought most adults on my holiday list a Tush Cush.
Since my first cushion purchase, I now have 7 in my house and cars ❤️
My fave? The Sheepskin covered Car Cush and the Mushroom faux leather which matches my car leather seats pretty closely.
Love that they are actually made in America.
Over the last 3 years I've purchased several brands of sitting cushions only being sorely disappointed . Then I discovered your product through some specific search words such as American made . No comparison your product out performs all others brands even the number 1 rated brand . Thank you for putting your brand out here .
We were referred to TushCush by a fellow tennis player who swore by this product. I ordered (initially the wrong item) and it shipped very quickly. It took a over a week for my husband to get used to using it, especially the forward tilt. So far, so great! I'm ordering one for me because his was so comfortable for me to use.
I fractured L5 vertebrae and twisted S1, sitting is difficult and often painful for me do to the damage that was done during this injury in 2009.
Initially, I thought I ordered the right item, but realized when the confirmation arrived that I ordered the wrong one. I emailed and then called (left a message) regarding my mistake and asked if they could ship me the one I was supposed to order and to provide an invoice so I can pay the difference.
I received a personal call back a few hours after my message and she completely understood my situation. She also reassured me that the shipping would be normal, not on a barge (30+ day transit time from California to Hawaii). I called on Friday morning and it arrived Monday afternoon.
I was very pleased and proud that the outside package has an American flag on the back.
I'm in love with this product and company. I'm now ordering a 2nd one so I can have my own.
I have a Compact-Car Cush in my home office, kitchen counter and two of our cars. I take one with me when I travel on planes. It helped relieve and now helps me avoid a recurrence of sciatica, because it correctly aligns my posture in seats and chairs. The suede microfiber is warm in the winter and not hot in the summer. Very easy to clean.
I always dread taking long car trips, even though I am most likely the passenger, because my lower back gets stiff. When we stop, I feel stiff all over as I get out of the car. I bought this cushion and noticed the very first time I used it that I was not uncomfortable as we drove hours and each time I got out of the car, I moved easily - no more stiffness! Now I have the Car Cush for both the front seats in our big SUV and F250 and a Compact Car Cush in my Land Rover, which has slightly more narrow seats. I also like that I can grab the cushion by the handle and take it into the stadium now that we can get to football and soccer games again! Love our Tush Cush!
The cushion actually worked to alleviate stress on my lower back during long periods of travel or sewing. It was first recommended by my physical therapist. Unfortunately it was so comfortable I forgot to grab it as I was leaving a shuttle bus!
